The Association for Higher Education Access and Disability, is an organisation working to promote full access to and participation in third level education for students with disabilities.

Personal Assistance (PA)

Students with a disability who need a PA for the hours they are in college can apply to the Special Fund for Students with disabilities .

The Dept. of Ed and Science operate a scheme towards the provision of services and the purchase of equipment for students with disabilities attending courses in third level institutions.

To apply for the Special Fund you should contact the Disability Officer of the college where you are registered.
