Disability Access Route to Education (DARE)

A third level admission scheme for school leavers from disbilities. Students who are eligible for the Disability Access Route to Education (DARE) may secure a place on a reduced point basis. All students with a disability, irrespective of whether they come through DARE or not, are offered a variety of academic, personal and social supports while studying at third level. Fund for Students with Disabilities

Provides grants for students who have sensory, physical and/or communicative disabilities. The aim is to provide those students with assistance and /or equipment to enable them to pursue and complete their course of study. Applications for funding should be made through the Disability Officer of the college where you are registered.
